At the Saint John Paul II National Shrine, it is our sincere hope that pilgrims will genuinely encounter Christ through the life, witness, and legacy of this extraordinary pope and saint. To provide younger pilgrims with as rich and fruitful an experience as possible, we have several resources to offer.
Our permanent, self-guided exhibit, A Gift of Love: The Life of John Paul II, is extensive, interactive, and engaging. To further ensure that students’ experience of the exhibit is both enjoyable and educational, we have student guides with specific but thought-provoking questions for them to answer in each gallery of the exhibit. You can find links to these student guides below.
In addition, we have also developed a St. John Paul II-themed word hunt game for younger pilgrims’ enjoyment. Students can have fun with this during a break time while still remaining focused.
If you are a parent or educator interested in bringing a group of young pilgrims to the Shrine, we also recommend that you view our educator FAQs and various fact sheets.
